“Originating from Jiulongke.” (九龙窠)A masterful expression of true Yan Gu Hua Xiang (Rock Bone & Floral Fragrance).

————————————————————
Dahongpao (大红袍) is the most legendary and world-renowned Wuyi Rock Tea. Celebrated for its complex, rich aroma, multi-layered profile, and perfect balance, it is the ultimate, unmissable gateway for any tea lover exploring the world of Wuyi Oolong.

Our Dahongpao is a pure-breed lineage (2nd generation progeny) propagated via careful stem-cuttings from the six original mother trees in Jiulongke. Strictly sourced from the authentic Zhengyan (inner rock正岩山场) core region within the 72-square-kilometer Wuyi Mountain Scenic Area, this selection delivers the true essence of traditional Rock Tea flavor.

By using modern sustainable cultivation, we ensure pristine quality while fully protecting the ancient mother trees. The tea pours a brilliant, translucent golden-yellow, presenting a beautifully balanced, velvety, and full-bodied cup—a true classic of Zhengyan craftsmanship.

·Complex Bouquet: A beautiful harmony of elegant orchid and rich honey-peach fruit notes, grounded by a distinct rocky minerality and warm, caramelized roast. The empty cup leaves a long-lasting, sweet fragrance.

·Velvety Mouthfeel: Remarkably thick, smooth, and silk-like on the palate, followed by immediate salivation under the tongue, a deeply enduring sweetness (Hui Gan), and a lingering throat resonance.

·8+ Infusions: Easily lasts through 8 consecutive steepings, keeping its golden clarity. The flavor gracefully evolves from vibrant floral-fruity notes in the initial rounds to a steady, mineral-sweet finish.

·The Jiulongke Terroir(正岩·九龙窠山场): Grown in the absolute heart of the Zhengyan region (including iconic valleys like Jiulongke and Tianxinyan). The mineral-rich Danxia soil and year-round mountain mists endow the leaves with their natural, deep rock character.

·72-Hour Traditional Roast(72小时 传统焙火): Meticulously hand-picked in spring and crafted through the 12 demanding steps of traditional heritage: from withering and green-making (crafting the classic "green leaf with red edge" 绿叶红镶边) to an extensive slow-roasting over charcoal for more than 72 hours. This precise heat locks in the complex structure and gives the tea its deeply warming, soothing nature.
