Inspired by the pine tree, one of the traditional Chinese "Three Friends of Winter," this gaiwan brings together deep splashed blue glaze, intricate pine carvings, and poetic inscriptions, capturing the timeless elegance and quiet strength of Chinese literati art.

The bowl features a rich, naturally varied blue glaze, reminiscent of a clear autumn sky. A carved pine tree rises gracefully along its surface, with twisting branches and layered needles. The contrast between the deep blue glaze and delicate white carvings highlights the pine's enduring vitality and resilience.

The lid is inscribed with a verse from the classical Chinese poem Little Pine:

"People overlook the young tree's towering potential, only recognizing its greatness once it reaches the sky."

The verse celebrates perseverance, quiet growth, and the strength to flourish with time, adding a thoughtful poetic touch to the piece.

Designed with a gently flared rim, the gaiwan allows for a smooth, controlled pour. The recessed lid knob offers a comfortable grip, making everyday tea preparation both practical and graceful.

A vessel of quiet strength, bringing the enduring spirit of the pine into every tea moment.
