Chinese white tea can be categorized into the following types based on the age of the freshly picked leaves and their processing:

1. Silver Needle White Tea

Made from tender buds, characterized by plump buds with prominent white hairs, presenting a delicate floral aroma and sweet taste. It is best made from the first harvest of the year. Our premium Silver Needle White Tea, harvested early in the season, represents top-quality tea.

2. White Peony

Made from buds and leaves, featuring relatively large leaves with floral and fruity aroma and a gentle taste. With aging, it develops a rich ripe fruit fragrance. Both Aged White Peony and Floral White Peony fall into this category of fine teas.

3. Longevity Eyebrow (Shou Mei)

Also known as "White Eyebrow with White Hairs," made from buds and one or two leaves, presenting fresh and tender leaves with a mild taste, sometimes with a hint of fruity aroma.

4. Tribute Eyebrow (Gong Mei)

Made from buds and the third or fourth leaves, often compressed into tight tea cakes. It pairs well with aged tangerine peel, making Chenpi White Tea an excellent choice.

As the Chinese saying goes, "Three years for tea, seven years for treasure, and ten years for medicine." White tea, through proper aging and transformation, develops more beneficial substances for human health, making it suitable for long-term consumption.
