Phoenix Dancong
“Perfume in a Cup” — Floral, Sweet, and Elegantly Lingering
Phoenix Dancong originates from the Phoenix Mountains in Chaozhou, Guangdong — a celebrated representation of Guangdong-style oolong tea. The name Dancong (“single bush”) comes from the early practice of picking and processing leaves from individual tea trees, giving each batch a unique aroma profile. Known for its complexity and alluring fragrance, Phoenix Dancong is often called the “perfume among teas.”
Among its many aromatic varieties, Ya Shi Xiang (Duck Shit Aroma) stands as the most popular and iconic one — the perfect introduction to the world of Phoenix Dancong.
According to legend, when this tea was first crafted, its enchanting fragrance drew too much attention. To prevent theft, the farmer jokingly named it “Duck Shit Aroma.” Despite the unappealing name, its beauty could not be hidden, and the tea quickly gained fame. Later, it was also known as Yin Hua Xiang (“Silver Flower Aroma”) for its graceful floral notes.
Suitable For:
Perfect for those seeking both energy and relaxation, and who enjoy teas with an elegant aroma and sweet, mellow liquor.
Highly resilient through multiple infusions, this tea gradually reveals new layers of fragrance and flavor — ideal for sharing and savoring with friends during a tea session.
Tieguanyin Oolong
Immerse yourself in the classic orchid fragrance of our Traditional Tie Guan Yin. This tea captivates with its excellent sweet aftertaste and mouth-watering sensation. Embrace the "original" processing method of Tie Guan Yin, a favorite among veteran tea drinkers in China for its enchanting layers of flavor.
- High-quality Oolong tea, made from the "Red Heart Crooked Tail Peach" raw material, harvested in the standard Oolong method of one bud with two to three leaves. The leaves are thick, with green bodies and red edges.
- Renowned for its "prominent orchid fragrance, aroma infused into the tea soup, high endurance to multiple infusions, and a sweet aftertaste that promotes salivation." This is what is referred to as the "Guanyin Rhyme," where even after seven brews, the tea retains its fragrance.
- Adheres to traditional processing methods, emphasizing heavy fermentation and strong roasting, resulting in a gentle tea soup.
- Drinking this tea offers a great bodily sensation, causing a slight perspiration and a strong, lasting sweet aftertaste.
Suitable For:
Veteran tea drinkers and those appreciating traditional oolong flavors. Enjoy the rich aroma of oolong tea, the aftertaste that promotes the production of saliva, and the physical experience shared among tea friends.
